If you need to find any kind of alternative fuel anywhere in the country, your surefire best bet is the AFDC's Alternative Fuel Station Locator.

In East Tennessee, there are currently

16 public E85 stations,
21 public biodiesel stations (7-B6, 11-B20, 1-B100), and
a handful of public propane stations.

There are also a number of places where propane can be purchased for vehicles, but they are rare at a comparative fuel cost. There are no public natural gas (CNG or LNG) or electric stations yet here.
